A period fantasy film. Liu Dekai plays the male lead, scholar Wang Yu, who falls instantly in love with Hu Yuming's character Ling Feng. Ling Feng is rescued by Xian Ni and taught immortal arts. After enduring countless trials, the two finally unite as husband and wife.
